Enterprises, Inc. was incorporated in January 1971 for the purpose
of constructing electrical substations for utilities, municipalities
and electric cooperatives in the Southeastern United States. The
company consisted of one crew and five (5) employees. The employees
now number approximately two hundred sixty (260) including fifteen
(15) completely equipped substation crews and six (6) specialty crews. As our company has grown, so have our capabilities. Not only do we
build substations, but our abilities now include telephone and
underground power construction, material handling and industrial
electrical wiring, as well as the
packaging of substations.
The corporate facility consists of a ninety-two hundred (9,200)
square foot, brick office building, a warehouse of sixty-four
hundred (6,400) square feet with
two (2) offices included, a maintenance shop of two thousand (2,000)
square feet with four (4) full-time mechanics on duty, a two
thousand (2,000) square foot
equipment storage building, and a two thousand (2,000) square foot
staging warehouse. We currently own over one hundred fifty (150)
pieces of rolling stock construction equipment specifically designed
for utility & power construction.
