- Extensive experience in testing,
start-up & commissioning Power Plants including energizing
substations.
- Joined Aubrey Silvey Enterprises,
Inc. in July 2002 as Testing Services Group Division Manager.
- Responsible for Sales, Operations
and Technical Services.
- Currently maintains affiliations
with the International Electrical Testing Association (NETA),
International Maintenance Institute (IMI) and Occupational Safety

transmission & distribution substation protective relaying,
communications and controls.
- Extensive experience with SCADA in
regard to new construction commissioning and periodic maintenance.
- Extensive experience with voltage
classes of equipment and controls ranging from 12kV distribution
to 500kV transmission.
- Joined Aubrey Silvey Enterprises,
Inc. in 1996 as a Testing Services Group Test Engineer
specializing in technical services for Georgia Power Company.

GENE DUKE – SENIOR
PROJECT COORDINATOR
- 1969 Graduate of South Georgia
Vocational & Technical Institute with a 2 year degree in
Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- Associated with Southwire Company
of Georgia for 30 years advancing from Mechanical
Draftsman to Associate Project Engineer to Senior Project
Engineer.
- Joined Aubrey Silvey Enterprises,
Inc. in 2001 as a Senior Project Coordinator for the Testing
Services Group Division.
- Field Service responsibilities
include Taking Oil Samples, Testing Transformers, Breakers,
Switchyard Equipment and various other High or Low Voltage
equipment.
- Coordinator responsibilities
include maintaining inventory of all testing equipment and tools,
Formulation of all testing reports with field readings and
calculations and presentation manuals.

JOHAN L. VAN
DEN BERG – TEST/RELAY ENGINEER
- Graduated with a Bachelors
Degree in Electrical Engineering from Tshwane University of
Technology in South Africa in 2003.
- Registered as a Professional
Engineering Technician by the Engineering Council of South
Africa (ECSA).
- Associated with Eskom Power
Company for 7 years, providing technical skills in the
generation and transmission industry.
- Extensive experience in the
commissioning of new protection systems and newly constructed
Power Plants.
- Widespread knowledge of
three-phase power system theory as well as Protection and
Control Systems. Also knowledgeable in root-cause analysis of
electrical plants, protection philosophies and schemes.
- Joined Aubrey Silvey
Enterprises, Inc. in 2004 as a Test/Relay Engineer for the
Testing Services Group.
